Marketing & Social Media Content Specialist

Role Overview

For a Top AI Startup, we are seeking a creative and data-driven Social Media Content Specialist to accelerate their growth in the Japanese market. This role focuses on content creation, social media strategy, and community engagement, working closely with the global marketing team to build strong brand presence and user trust across digital platforms for their AI Agent solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, and localize engaging social media content (posts, videos, stories, blog articles, etc.) tailored for the Japanese audience
• Manage our presence across key Japanese platforms (X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), ensuring consistent tone, visuals, and brand identity
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and regional marketing teams to produce high-quality, AI-focused content that resonates with local users
• Develop and execute influencer collaborations with Japanese creators, tech enthusiasts, and thought leaders to enhance brand visibility
• Monitor community engagement, respond to comments, and foster meaningful online discussions around AI and productivity tools
• Track and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights to optimize future campaigns and content strategies
• Stay updated on Japanese digital trends, pop culture, and competitor activities to identify new content opportunities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital communications (preferably in tech or digital products)
• Excellent Japanese proficiency with fluent English or Mandarin Chinese for cross-functional collaboration
• Proven ability to create engaging and high-performing content for social media
• Strong understanding of Japanese online communities and digital marketing trends
• Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar)
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
